OK, some long awaited food images. Â Impossible to describe all of the great meals we have had and the experiences that have gone with them. Â Nevermind that Ho Chi Minh is having his revenge on my gut right now and I am limited to rice and bananas.
- Whole steamed catfish with ginger and cilantro. We had this tasty meal in a floating restaurant on a river in the Malaysian rain forest, the waitress was excited about our order because they caught the fish that morning.
- The remains of our friend the catfish.
- Still not sure what kind of fruit this is but the branch it was growing on is in the background. It was a very fresh and tasty dessert.
- Satay, available just about anywhere you can start a fire.
- After one look at the hotel buffet in Kuala Lipis, a small town in Malaysia, we ran the nearest hawker center for breakfast.
- These are the wonderful ladies who cooked for us in Kuala Lipis.
- Just after we arrived in Kuala Lipis it looked like rain so we waited out the rain over a quick meal of Indian roti and curry.
- It seriously rained for quite a while and this being a majority muslim district in a mostly muslim country we drank alot of fruit juice, no beer to be had!!
- Whole fish once again this time in Singapore.
- Fast food in singapore! The hawker centers here are great kind of like the food court at the mall but with real food.
- Steamboat! Two different kinds of broth to cook a variety of fish, meat and veggies.
- Good luck cats at the back of a restaurant in Singapore, not sure if that is encouraging or not, when it comes to the food?
- Meat and veggies, seen here in the background are displayed in a huge buffet and you pick what you would like to add to your broth.
- Jeanne looking serious, seriously full.
- TIger prawns the size of a babies arm!
- BBQ pork at the food court in the Vivo city mall in Singapore.
- Javanese food at the same food court, they redefine the food court in Singapore.
- The famous Mawell hawkers market.
- Inside the market has been modernized and cleaned up.
- The shrine at Maxwell food center housed in a typical stainless steel hawker stand used for serving food.
- Does this one really need a caption?

Now I am starving for Asian food and I am stuck in Effingham; alas.
Hey George, good to hear from you. Yes, Effingham does not quite compare but at least you can drink the water. Just gave my only disc away to a group of orphans, sounds like a joke but no. Looking forward to Japan where I can get in a couple of rounds of disc golf.
Dear god, that food looks incredible.
You should be able to throw those 150s a mile as long as there is no wind.
Enjoy the sushi.
Oh no… you gave away your last disc!?! Was it the one from New Zealand? At least it was to a good cause. Can I airmail you a 150 class Boss in the brand new plastic (super grippy) to where your staying in Japan?
Amazing pictures! What an astounding trip you guys are having.
Hey Chris! The disc I gave away was only a sonic we brought to toss around. Should have brought more discs for the kids. Anyway, going to hit a few courses in Japan and will pick up some new plastic then. Hope all goes well in Tucson, I will try to call you soon.
Scott
I think your fruit in question looks like rambutan – had some of this in India – similar to lychee except less sweet?
Let us know if you need discs!
Kevin

Michael
Hey Kevin ,Thanks for the info,we finally figured it out but now we are on to France and less questionable fruits and vegetables. Got my disc fix in Japan but they were all super light 150 class discs, very hard to put with but I had fun trying to chat with the local players. More posts are coming soon!
Hey Michael, getting ready to post more images today! It was great to see you and Anthony on the beaches of Nice. We start work tomorrow and I know you are shedding a tear for us. Hope to see you again sooner next time.
