Last few days were busy with travel to the surrounding villages (fun) and dealing with my Visa (not fun)
Part 1 of our walk around the old section of Jakarta. It was hot, dirty and the smell of the river/open sewer is beyond description.
All architecture all the time in this post plus a random food cart. I spent an afternoon on Jalan Braga, Bandung – easily could have spent more time here. The buildings are fantastic and one walk does them little justice.
No long captions here but I will mention that the guy in the boat was posing for me, very funny, the Indonesian people have a great sense of humor.

Coffee lovers should enjoy the end of this set, a local coffee processing company still roasting and grinding coffee using water power from the river to run the equipment. Yes, we will bring some coffee home if we can get it through customs. Hope y’all enjoy.
